Mirror Khan is fascinated by the Augments of the prime universe and requests permission from his counterpart to study them. When a few Augments agree to be studied, Khan asks you to oversee the research process. Your away team meticulously monitors Khan and his experiments, down to analyzing the contents of serums he is giving to his patients. You manage to keep everything on the up and up. Several of the Augments become ill and you rush them off to be treated elsewhere.

A fissure to a reality where holograms can become organic opens up, resulting in holograms throughout the galaxy taking over their ships in an attempt to reach the fissure. Your away team reaches the fissure and, in conjunction with that universe's inhabitants, helps to control traffic and to return ships that have been taken over to their rightful crews. Your shuttle is destroyed by a ship crewed by Iden, Moriarty, and Vic Fontaine.

Your away team manages to intercept Mirror Khan and secure Cold Station 12. Mirror Khan beats your away team to Cold Station 12.

Mirror Khan has sent a crew to gather data from a fissure that opened within a stellar nursery, but the crew has not returned. He asks you to find them. Using the crew's last known position, your vessel flies around the vicinity of the nursery, finally locating the stalled out vessel. You make contact and learn the concentration of ultraviolet light has turned the crew into beings of pure energy. You are unable to locate the crew.

Mirror Khan begins a push to overturn rules and regulations against augmentation - and he manages to get support from some influential sources. Ensure his policy push doesn't turn into something more sinister. Creating opportunities for Mirror Khan and his supporters to talk with policy-makers, you manage to keep tempers in check and tensions from escalating. After speaking out against l\/lirror Khan, your away team is ambushed by Mirror Persis.

Mirror Khan sees this as a challenge but Prime Khan knows provoking that universe's inhabitants is unwise. He asks you to keep an eye on things. The other universe's Augments are quick-tempered, but some smooth talking and redirection manages to keep things calm. The other universe Augments are insulted by your involvement and decide to attack your vessel.

Many of the comatose patients recover, even as Khan denies the allegations against him. Members of your away team who were investigating have mysteriously fallen ill.

Your away team is surrounded by Borg vessels and assimilated.

Mirror Khan has enlisted the crew of the Cerritos in testing out new methods of sealing up the rifts, but both Tendi and T'Lyn are concerned that his methods may cause more harm. Your away team assists Tendi and T'Lyn with testing out Khan's new methods and tweaking them to get better results - or at least to avoid tearing the ship apart from the inside. While attempting to seal a rift, every member of your away team is switched with a counterpart from another universe.

Carol Freeman contacts you in a panic, her head that of a Doopler, after the possibility field reappeared around the portal she and the other staff at Starbase 80 are monitoring. She asks you to investigate. Your away team investigates and finds MirrorKhan is destabilizing several fissures, leading to the possibilty field reappearing around the portal. You put a stop to his risky activities and the portal stabilizes. Your away team is unable to find any answers.

Mirror Khan believes he's on the cusp of a breakthrough, but to be sure, he'll need to undertake a risky test: opening a mini rift in a lab setting and seeing if an anomaly follows. After pervasive research, your away team implements myriad safety measures, to the point that Mirror Khan resents your presence, but he does manage to open a small controlled rift safely. The catastrophic experiment results in everyone in the lab being sucked into a black hole of a fissure.

Your away team is unable to make any headway with the entity.

You receive a visit from a perturbed Mrs. Q who tells you a mortal from the mirror universe has attempted to "trap" Q in order to experiment on him. She seems more annoyed with Q for playing along, but insists you put an end to it. Your team finds Q "trapped" in a makeshift forcefield as Mirror Khan performs all manner of experiments on him. You incapacitate Khan and lower the forcefield, delighting Q, who says he's always wanted to be on the receiving end of a daring rescue. Your away team decides to abort the mission. Highly annoyed, Q snaps your away team onto a gas giant.
